About Dov

Your Simcha is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, full of emotion, excitement, vibrancy and exhilaration. You have invested endless time and effort to plan every moment down to the finest detail.

At the end of the day, after the crumbs are swept off the table, the glasses emptied and the guests have left, the only tangible remnant of your special day are priceless memories caught on film.

Allow Dov Yarden to capture your precious moments for all eternity.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Dov is a native English speaker with the world-famous Aussie easy-going attitude. He is a calming influence amid all the hustle and bustle going on around.

Whether hiking or sailing, attending family events or taking trips away, from Dov's youngest days he has been photographing with anything he could get his hands on. Since making Aliya in 1987, Dov served apprenticeships with several top Jerusalem photographers at weddings and various events prior to establishing "Dov Yarden Photography” in 1990.

There is no substitute for experience. Since he began working in Israel Dov has photographed every variation of Jewish wedding, Bar and Bat Mitzvah and other Simcha. He is always in the right place at the right time to capture the moment.

Skillful photojournalistic images and a more contemporary approach to "traditional" photographs beautifully capture your personality and the true flavor of your special day.

Dov’s photographic style is a combination of consultation, planning and photographic skill. Along with this, you want and need a photographer with superb social skills to entice the very best from his subjects. Dov has all of the above, and more, and delivers impressive results every time.

The quality and service provided is of the highest level.

The happiness, joy and emotion shared by all who attend are what Dov is there to capture. You will always be the center of attraction on your Day and he doesn’t detract from this in any way. Dov's experience allows him to be in the right place at the right time so as not to run or interrupt your Simcha.
